Additional Premium Seating Area On-Sale Beginning

            HOUSTON (April 30, 2008)—The Showgrounds at Sam Houston Race Park (www.theshowgrounds.com) has released an additional 200 reserved seats, offering patrons some of the best seats in the house, for each show in the 2008 Classic Rock Concert Series.  Tickets will go on-sale beginning Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 10 a.m.  Tickets for a select portion of the newly released seating area feature an additional reserved ticket price of $25 in advance or $35 day of show.

Concert Series Will Feature Variety of Top National Acts Starting Friday, May 2, 2008

             The Showgrounds at Sam Houston Race Park (www.theshowgrounds.com) will kick off the 2008 summer concert season on Friday, May 2, 2008, with a performance from Southern rock jam band Widespread Panic.
