SIMULCAST EVENTS CANCELLED AT SAM HOUSTON RACE PARK DUE TO HURRICANE IKE FOR SUNDAY, SEPT. 14, 2008

HOUSTON (Saturday, September 13, 2008)—Sam Houston Race Park ( www.shrp.com ) will remain closed for simulcast racing events on Sunday, September 14, 2008, due primarily to power outages caused by Hurricane Ike.  The Park's management will continue to evaluate the situation and update patrons regarding simulcast activities for Monday, September 15.  For more information, please visit www.shrp.com  or call 281-807-8760.
