SAM HOUSTON RACE PARK & ONURLEFT SPORTS PRESENT THE 2009 THOROUGHBRED HALF MARATHON

Event Will Also Feature a 5K Race, Junior Jockeys 1K Race, Prizes, Awards Ceremony and More on Sunday, April 19, 2009

    

WHAT:                      Sam Houston Race Park (www.shrp.com) and OnUrLeft Sports (www.onurleft.com) have partnered to host the 2009 Thoroughbred Half Marathon racing event on Sunday, April 19, 2009.  The event will include a Half Marathon and 5K Race for adults, 1K Race for kids, awards ceremony, prize giveaways, pet adoption information and more!  Donations can be made to the race charity, The Houston Humane Society, at time of registration or at the event. WHO:                         OnUrLeft’s instruction is based on twenty combined years of experience in Triathlon, Swimming, Cycling and Running. They believe that by being one of the only Endurance Training Company in Houston, and the surrounding areas, with two Certified USAT Coaches, they are able to offer their members much more than they would get through a single coach.
