SIMULCAST EVENTS OPENING AT
SAM HOUSTON RACE PARK
Facility Opens For Patrons Beginning Saturday, September 20, 2008
HOUSTON (Friday, September 19, 2008)—Sam Houston Race Park (www.shrp.com) will open the Paddock Level of the Grandstand for simulcast racing events beginning Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Simulcasting will close daily at 11 p.m. in observance of the mandated city-wide curfew. Hours of operation for simulcast events throughout the week will continue to follow curfew hours established by city and county officials. Tracks that have post times of 9 p.m. (CDT) or run past 11 p.m. (CDT) will not be available for guests to watch or wager.
Due to the M.U.D. #21 water advisory, The Park will offer limited menu items at concessions areas. The Club and Suite Levels will remain closed due to damage caused by Hurricane Ike. Admission to simulcast events is $4 per person.
