RECORD YEAR FOR THE TEXAS QUARTER HORSE ASSOCIATION YEARLING SALE AT SAM HOUSTON RACE PARK

Mr Jess Kue Takes Top Dollar At Texas Summer Showdown Event July 25-26, 2008

 

HOUSTON (July 30, 2008)—Sam Houston Race Park (www.shrp.com) hosted the annual Texas Quarter Horse Association (TQHA) Yearling Sale on July 25 & 26, 2008. The event, in its 10th year, hosted nearly 4,000 guests and broke record sales with receipts totaling $3.9 million dollars.

The two-day event is part of the Texas Summer Showdown Weekend at The Park, which is one of the highlights of the American Quarter Horse meeting.
