Position:

Group Sales Manager

   

Reports to:

Director of Sales and Service

   

Primary Purpose:

Solicit businesses and organizations in order to drive group sales revenue

   

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree.

   

Work Experience:

Prior sales experience preferred.
Hospitality, Entertainment and/or Sports experience preferred.

Skills:

Strong communication skills with pleasant phone etiquette
Outstanding customer service skills
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be multi-task oriented with great attention to detail

Responsibilities:

Make outbound phone calls with specific focus selling live racing house suites and special events.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with local organizations, businesses, and groups to help drive attendance.

Attend networking events to establish new relationships and maintain existing relationships.

Answer all calls to inbound sales line

Process orders using established procedures and forms

Maintain established sales policies and procedures


Perform other duties as assigned
