SAM HOUSTON RACE PARK (Thursday, March 29, 2007) – Sam Houston Race Park, which opened in April, 1994 as the first Class I racetrack in Texas, has announced changes to its management team, effective March 29, 2007.

Sam Houston Race Park will simulcast all the excitement of the Breeders’ Cup World Thoroughbred Championships on Saturday, November 4.  In addition to cheering on Bernardini in the $5 Million Breeders’ Cup Classic, racing fans will have an opportunity to support a worthy cause as the northwest Houston racetrack will host two Alex’s Lemonade Stands.

SAM HOUSTON RACE PARK (Tuesday, September 12, 2006) - Sam Houston Race Park concluded its 2006 Quarter Horse meeting on Saturday, September 9. The final weekend was highlighted by accomplishments by Snowy Alibi, who locked up Horse of the Meeting honors and trainer Judd Kearl, who won his first Sam Houston Race Park leading trainer title at the northwest Houston racetrack.
